This is my own take on world, national, state, AND local events. It may seem scatter-brained for me to talk about Iraq, gay rights issues, and the state of the Democratic Party in Central Orange County all in the same week... But I like to think of it as an eclectic mix of various important issues.

What in the world is that man doing with the Mexican flag? This is AMERICA!
Yeah, it's America...
Where you're supposed to be able to exercise your right to FREE SPEECH!
Whether we like it or not, people have the right to fly whatever flag they want in this nation.
The man carrying the flag is in charge of A.N.S.W.E.R in Orange County. He also carries around a Palestinian flag when he attends Palestinian functions
Anon 8:35, you're probably right. A.N.S.W.E.R. probably has much of the same membership as World Can't Wait, just like many of the same folks (myself included) in Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) are also part of Democracy for America (DFA).
Oh, and when I saw the same protesters at the weekly antiwar demonstration that Friday evening, there was a Palestinean flag indeed. Good insight.
